Overall a clean and safe property. When we checked in and went to our room, the carpet was very wet by the bathroom. Reported this to the front desk manager and in less than 5 minutes we were upgraded to a suite! No questions asked and also multiple apologies. He was knowledgeable about where to go to eat and also the surrounding area. Morning breakfast buffet was impressive. Would definitely stay their again

Mediocer hotel with non inclusive allergy for pool

When entering the hotel,they almost canceled our reservation due to us being locals.The pool had peeling paint. If you have a latex allergy, you will break out in hives at the pool. The jet tub was filthy when ran with soap and water. Also,the pillows were incredibly uncomfortable. When eating breakfast, the potatoes we not done all the way. Everything else was great.

Missed the Mark

Unfortunately, we did not have the best experience at this Best Western. First, I was surprised that the pet fee increased to $40. Many other hotels charge less. Second, the hotel experienced some sort of disaster that wasn’t mentioned, but there were fans everywhere and the ac was turned off in all common areas. Last, the breakfast was missing bowls, napkins, and fresh fruit. We pass through Port Huron every year, but we will look to stay somewhere else next time.
