Not what we were expecting from the photos we saw on Expedia… their pool is amazing definitely the best one we've seen in a while and the staff was very welcoming and helpful... the exterior of the facility looked like it had been decorated by a street artist and the beds were comfortable… However our only problem was that our room was very moldy as was evidence by us both having pretty bad reactions ...we did not ask for a room change as we were exhausted but by four in the morning we were both so bad we left and the reactions promptly went away. So if you're allergic to mold definitely ask for a second floor room ... the staff I'm sure would have accommodated us if we had the energy to ask…

The room was large and comfortable. The hotel is not on the water and there is no ocean view. There is also not much to do on the Bolivar Peninsula nd we wound up taking the ferry to Galveston for dinner.

Very happy with my stay. My only issues would be I could not connect to WiFi so unable to really use the tv or connect my devices to stream programs and the sleeper sofa in the room was not usable. Other that that I would definitely stay again.

Rooms are good for a one night stay, but need some repairs. TV dish was out so we did not have any TV to watch, not even local channels worked. Light from lamp was broken, so there was poor lighting in the evening.

The mattress was old and stained. The stairwell was filthy. The room had a horrible stench and started to trigger my wife's asthma. The furniture was falling apart. The sofa was frayed and stained. There were ants everywhere outside. There was no elevator to the 2nd floor. They have just slapped on new paint, but it is already falling apart. I believe the stench is a disingenuous attempt to cover up the smell of the building rotting from the inside out.

This was our third time to stay in 4 weeks. We are so glad we discovered this hotel. Could use a couple of more towels in the room but otherwise its a pretty good place to stay for the beach. We always try to make time as well to go to the pool. The pool area is so awesome.

Wedding weekend

Went down for a wedding and needed a place that was pet friendly & had a pool. The hotel was so inviting and lit up all around at night. When we checked in the gentlemens name who I didn't get was extremely helpful and super friendly even to my dog. It was $20 extra a night for my dog to stay! The rooms were big, clean, and the beds were so comfortable. The pool was our favorite.. very long, cold and 9 feet in the deep part. Had a nice big grill in the pool area and plenty of nice table areas. It was a mile or so from a market place that had everthing you could think of. We loved it so much we are planning a trip to visit next month.

This is our 2nd stay in 3 months. And even though we lost power they were very accommodating. What i dont like is lavk of coffee or the doors being locked so often with open sign on. I understand no one wants to sit in there all day though.
