Communication was top notch, and overall we had an okay stay, but the home needs more attention to cleanliness and maintenance.The fire pit and grill were not usable, like the listing advertised and we had to reset the breaker to get the microwave working. It would also be helpful to have more basic kitchen items. It was great driving distant to the beach and the stores. Like stated above communication was great and the hosts were very quick to respond.

We had a good time. The flys and mosquitoes were pretty bad. But overall it was good.

There were so many things wrong with this rental. When we got to the house it took us about 20 minutes to even get the front door unlocked. The lock is broken. Once inside the house was not as pictured. The floors were coming apart in spots. There were also several places in the floor that felt like you were going to fall through a hole. I would not allow my family to sit on the couch. There were so many stains and it was just so dirty and worn out. We used the extra quilts to cover the couch. There were several light bulbs out throughout the house. One would think the cleaning crew would fix those before a new guest checks in. There was an area under the house for family to gather and cook out etc. I could not allow my family in this area. The string lights were out in most spots and one even had a broken bulb hanging with jagged glass right when you walked in the area. The grill was rotted out and disgusting. We had to buy a grill to feed our family. The stairs leading to the house were not in good shape. They were overgrown with shrubbery. The bottom step was broken as well and we found that out the hard way! I have used VRBO for more than 17 years. I have never experienced anything like this before. It was just so disappointing.
