Have stayed at SAMS numerous times before and it is my preferred place to stay when in Port Au Prince. This time around, we had to change rooms because the shower head was broken in the shower. The staff was able to accommodate us without any problems.

SAMS is a sweet new hotel. It is very near the airport, safe, friendly, very clean. Parts of it are still under construction but it was not disruptive to our stay. Food is good.

Worst hotel ever.

I stay there from Friday through Sunday morning. The first day when I arrived they gave me a horrible room which wasn’t the room that I paid for. After my husband argued with the ladies and the front desk they decided to change the room. They gave us a room which the AC wasn’t working and no hot water only one toilet paper, my husband and told them about the AC and The hot water a guy came to look at the water he said gave him a minute he’ll be back NeVER See him again. I spent the whole time there with no hot water and AC. The front dest was not apologetic at all, the lady told me it’s normal for the AC to stop working and it has nothing to do with them. After paying almost $500 for a room for a weekend I arrived on Friday at 2pm and Sunday 11:28am they were already knocking on my room door for us to leave. NEVER again, unprofessional, rude, no customer service at all.
