They were not prepared for our stay. We got to our room and there was no linens nor soaps. It appeared that it had not been vacuumed.

Room was not clean, one bath towel for two people, no hand tools or wash cloths, no hand soap or shampoo. Parking is not the best. Could hear person next door snoring all night. For anyone expecting to eat breakfast early then take off you will have to wait until 9:00 am because the lobby doesn’t open until then so you can eat.

The room wasn't very clean. Looked like mold starting to grow on bottom of shower curtain. Picture on wall had broken glass. Bathtub faucet wouldn't turn all the way off. Deck chair all stained on seat cushion. Will not recommend this place to anyone. We checked out early an stayed somewhere else.

When we checked in, there were no towels or TP in the room. Microwave was dirty, and the refrig had an old pizza. Shower/tub had mold. Next morning the lobby was closed at 8 am, so no "free" breakfast. This hotel has definitely gone down since our previous visit. Won't stay there again!

I read the reviews before booking this hotel so I knew what to expect and they were correct. The hotel was clean and the staff was very nice and accommodating. The facilities were showing their age. The beds were hard and yes you need to bring your own pillows. Plastic was still on the mattress which I liked due to being less likely to have bed bugs but my wife found it noisy. I could stay there again but might pick another hotel.

DO BETTER OR SHUT DOWN

MY FIRST AND LAST TIME EVER AGAIN! The receptionist was very nice, funny, could carry a conversation and just overall good. Now she deserves a RAISE and deserves help in there!! Whoever is the owner I hope YOU READ THIS. You should in-force your policy rules. I was told that quiet time around the lodge is 11pm okay if that’s so then no one should be throwing every single furniture around nor woman at all up and SHOULD have not been allowed back on property. Just please get that woman up there just extra help and a security guard for the weekends there WOULD NOT BE TOO MUCH TROUBLE. I thought me and my fiancé could have just a quiet night together. They were loud from 7:30pm to 4am! I hope some changes will be done very soon. I was not expecting to be in a disguise Motel 6 or Relax Inn truthfully. I was disappointed, I was expecting an actual lake lodge

With a little help, this place could be Great.

Could have been a wonderful room, however. Floors were unswept and ceiling had mold and cobwebs. Otherwise the room was very comfortable and quiet. They have a really great bar next door to the property.

Nice getaway

When in Poplar Bluff, we always stay here. Nice property. Could use to update the comfort level of the king size beds. Staff is awesome. Close to nearby attractions.
