My significant other and I decided to take a short getaway and came across this hotel. Due to the price, we decided to book it. If affordability is your main priority, this hotel may be acceptable. However, it was noticeable that cleanliness and upkeep could use improvement—just enough seemed to be done to keep guests satisfied. Our room was located on the back side of the hotel, where there was a large wooden board covering missing glass. This was not very appealing and gave the hotel an uncomfortable impression. I believe focusing more on presentation and maintenance would make a significant difference, as first impressions truly matter.

Truck.driver. been staying here for years. I've seen it change hands. Stayed 2 nights recently. Should have someone come in and refresh towels etc.. Also should put an automatic coffee machine in the lobby like most hotels.are now doing. People.like us that leave at 1am grab a coffee and roll. Usually the person at the front desk wont make it untila certain time of the morning so just put an automatic machine.

Hotel is a little dated but the room was clean and the bed comfy. Parking was easy. Price was right for what it is. What is it with having no washcloths tho?? Desk was bar height and the chair provided was SO uncomfortable. They did have an ironing board so I used that along with sitting in the loveseat as a desk Much more comfortable that way! Lol

Our first room had no AC. After a 13 hr drive it was super uncomfortable to be woken up sweating. We then switched rooms, and plugs would not work either. As well as in the middle of the night we were woke because AC quit working in there as well. I would strongly recommend looking around before booking here. They priced us still for full payment which I thought was ridiculous.

If you book thru Expedia or any app they will put you in the very back where the workers are coming and going at all hours of the night. There’s barely any csvke service when it rains the tv channels don’t come in.. ☣️ The sewage smell coming from the shower drain was so disgusting I had to seal off the door with towels and dryer sheets. Everytime I had to use the toilet I gagged 🤢 you could smell in the hallway a bit too so I just dealt with it and am going elsewhere instead of extending my stay unfortunately

Cottonwood Suites is conveniently located off I-95 in Pooler, GA. This location is roughly 20 minutes away from downtown Savannah. I have been coming to Savannah for 20 years and usually choose to stay in Pooler due to Overall, Cottonwood Suites has exceeded my expectations. This location is undergoing renovations. If you're looking for a prestigious hotel, this is not for you. I felt safe and secure during the day and at night. The parking lot is very well lit. I saw no security concerns during my stay. The cleanliness of the room was great. Linens were crisp and fresh. The beds slept wonderfully. There was some obvious "cut corners" during my room's renovation. For example, the foot shelf in the shower is falling down. It looks like attempts were made to fix the issue to no avail. Breakfast was outstanding! Shaun's omelettes on the weekends were outstanding. Shaun is very personable. I really enjoyed my interaction with him. The pool and courtyard area is absolutely beautiful! During my next stay I will be requesting a room with a courtyard view. My only complaint is more a personal preference. The parking lot lighting is is extremely bright which is required for adequate security. However, the lighting exceeded the limitations of our blackout curtains. (I prefer to sleep in darkness.) Our room was illuminated all night. None of the other guest in my party had any complaints due to the lighting. I am looking forward to seeing the hotel upon the completion of their reno!
