What a beautiful location for a resort. Hiking and the ocean right out there in front of the hotel. A great staff that is friendly and helpful. Food was excellent and resort is spotless. Also centrally located for travel to all of the sites. Loved our stay!

it was peaceful beautiful clean and perfect for my getaway ..its a 17 min drive to ponta delgada the busy city and just a short drive to other restaurants and other areas if you wanted something outside from the hotel

We liked our one bedroom corner suite. When we arrived our unit A/C wasn’t working and within an hour, hotel management changed us to an equal replacement. Bed was comfortable. Onsite parking was sufficient. The breakfast that was included with our stay was a good value and staff went out of their way to show us how to use the coffee machine. The property was peaceful, matching the island vibes. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Great hotel. Preferably take the ocean view, otherwise you have a view of an empty field. Centrally located, so it was easy to get to every corner of the island. That being said, there was nothing close by, so you need a car to go eat for example.

Miguel at the bar was our main server and he was a big help. The meals at the restaurant were lovely - excellent view of the ocean. Food was great. Converting euros to CND$ makes it all feel quite expensive. But we felt overall that the value equation was there compared to other European destinations. Rooms were great, kept clean by cleaning staff. One recommendation is to invest in a larger TV for the Bar area. Watching the world cup on a 48 inch screen was somewhat comical. Great location as it was a short drive to Pont Delgado and the Santa Barbara Beach. Lovely stay. Want to return to the Azores soon.
