We clearly went in the off season, mid January, so there were few guests, which we didn’t mind at all. Free Breakfast buffet was excellent as was the hotel’s service the entire time.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. The property was spotless, the staff was welcoming and attentive, and the daily breakfast was outstanding. The location was ideal, close to the city while remaining peaceful, with beautiful scenery.

Had difficulty checking in, pools are beautiful but the sauna or Turkish hammam were either not working or needed to be turned on. Service is a little slow, but could be due to the language barrier. Overall, very relaxing place to be, but you need to rent a car if you stay here.

Beautiful property. Especially loved the pools and sauna area. Breakfast included lots of great options. Very friendly and helpful staff. Location is perfect for beach and oceanfront exploration but not close to the downtown area of Ponta Delgada. We had a car so it wasn’t too bad to drive in.

La vue du cĂŽtĂ© mer est magnifique. Nous n’aurions pas pu demander une meilleure vue. C’était le highlight de notre sĂ©jour Ă  l’hĂŽtel. Le personnel s’occupant de l’entretien mĂ©nager fait trĂšs bien son travail. La chambre Ă©tait propre Ă  tous les jours (plancher, salle de bain et lits). La nourriture Ă©tait bonne, mais dispendieuses (ex. 17€ pour une omelette). Toutefois, les portions Ă©taient gigantesques, soit un repas convenant pour 2 personnes. Avant de poursuivre, je dois spĂ©cifier que nous avons eu une compensation de 10% et un changement de chambre aprĂšs avoir contactĂ© Expedia et le propriĂ©taire de l’hĂŽtel. L’hĂŽtel fait fasse Ă  un problĂšme de moisissure, et ce, dans l’ensemble de l’hĂŽtel (visibles dans les chambres et la piscine). Ceci est une problĂ©matique courante aux Açores, mais nous nous attendions mieux d’une hĂŽtel 5 Ă©toiles Ă  ce prix. Mon amie et moi sommes trĂšs allergiques Ă  la moisissure, ce qui a menĂ© Ă  des symptĂŽmes dĂ©plaisants. Il y a des insectes dans les grandes chambres. Mon amie s’est rĂ©veillĂ© avec une coquerelle dans son lit. Je vous conseille donc de demander une chambre proche de la rĂ©ception ou sur le 2e Ă©tage. De plus, il y avait des fourmis sur les tables durant les dĂ©jeuners. L’espace de piscine est bien, mais mal entretenu. La piscine intĂ©rieure a des tuiles brisĂ©es et les chaises longues sont couvertes de moisissure (mĂȘme aprĂšs que nous ayons signalĂ© le problĂšme Ă  la rĂ©ception, les chaises et les coussins n’ont pas Ă©tĂ© changĂ©s).

This is a beautiful setting. They have a nice restaurant, breakfast buffet but you do need to drive to get to any other restaurants, stores, sights to see etc. The facility is really clean and staf were great!

The breakfast was really tasty with lots of options and a large indoor and outdoor space. The views and trails right outside the hotel were fabulous. The resort is off on it's own, so you do need to drive to get anywhere. The staff was friendly and informative. We appreciated the beach towel system as well.

Beautiful location

Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Beautiful seaview and balcony. Ample parking. Indoor and outdoor pools both clean and inviting. The main lady running the breakfast service was professional and accommodating. All staff were friendly and happy to help. The bar in the evening was short staffed and it was a long wait for drinks. WiFi was almost non functional.
