This was my second time staying at Nine Dots, and it was just as wonderful as the first! I booked a standard room for a shorter stay, and the room met my needs. What keeps me coming back is the incredibly friendly staff — they truly make you feel at home. I arranged an airport pickup, and Hugo greeted me with a warm, friendly smile. When I arrived at the hotel, all the staff welcomed me with open arms, as if I had returned home again. A special shout-out to Gonçalo and João for their kindness and hospitality! Really great place to stay! When we checked in , had pizza snack as a welcome treat! Location was super and walkable to the marina and historic areas and lots of restaurants all around. Staff was very friendly and great breakfast that was included . Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Very cute boutique hotel! I really appreciated the art and little touches throughout. All the staff were super friendly, warm, and welcoming! Communication was prompt—the hotel reached out right after I made my reservation to confirm my ETA and ask if I needed to book a shuttle. Shout-out to the front desk team, especially Vincente and João, for their excellent recommendations on places to eat and visit, and for making accommodations to store my luggage and insulin. A special thank you as well to Màrcia and the restaurant staff for their warm interactions and great service! I will definitely be staying here again! Conveniently located within walking distance of Ponta Delgada’s main attractions. I appreciated the warm hospitality of this hotel!

Four of us loved our 4-night stay at Nine Dots. Our rooms were lovely and well-serviced. The breakfast each day was fabulous. The staff was fantastic. The lounge was wonderful. The pool and sauna were beautiful and restorative. The access to Ponta Delgada was terrific. We are so grateful for our time at Nine Dots and hope to return again some day!

Weather was a mix of showers and sun but having the hotel spa to go and relax in after a long day was perfect. Breakfast was good, the option for foods to be cooked for you was great. The hotel staff were lovely and the place was really clean

Perfect city location with amazing food and service! Steps from great dining, nightlife, and even a live classical concert during our stay. Breakfast was outstanding—fresh cheeses, meats, breads, and made-to-order omelettes. Staff were warm and attentive, and the spa/pool were beautiful despite a couple of minor maintenance issues. Would gladly return!

Steep prices in the summer season, kind staff!

This hotel has a lot going for it, being centrally located in Ponta Delgada. But, paying almost US$500 a night, we were very disappointed with the room we got the first night. However, the GM Pedro gave us a grant room for the next night. His kindness and the wonderful staff made us feel much more at home in this art hotel, where we ended up feeling very pampered

Charming and modern hotel right in downtown Ponta Delgada - very friendly and resourceful staff with a strong service focus. Spa was a great touch for stays and enjoyed terrific breakfast and the stylish bar for dinner and drinks. Highly recommend as jumping off point for San Miguel tours, close to great dining options, shopping and art scene. Well-designed and comfortable rooms - great for solo or friend stay.
