Cute apartment in Ponta Delgada

Property was great! Spacious with 2 bedrooms upstairs and sleeps 4. Downstairs large living room, kitchen and bathroom. There is a private courtyard in the back and an additional balcony off the bedroom. Conveniently located to two grocery stores at the end of either block. Restaurants 15-20 min walk to city center. Antonio, the local manager is friendly and will assist with any advice needed to enjoy your stay.

Nice stay near to the center of PDL

We spent five days on São Miguel and chose Ponta Delgada as central location for starting our daily trips to sites all over the island. The location offers a beautiful small town house, with kitchen and living room on ground floor, an atrium on the backside and two bed rooms on the first floor, one with exit to a large terrace with a small sea view and backyard view to neighbouring houses, ideal for a late beer or wine. In summer it's too hot to sit outside during the day (no shadow). Due to humid climate in summer, AC is also very useful. In front of the house there are free public parking lots on the street, but be aware that the street is very narrow, so parking as near to the house as possible is mandatory, talking about centimeters. Are car is highly recommended, when you want to see different sites on the island. Public transport is too inflexible in my opinion. Getting into downtown of Ponta Delgada it's just a ten minutes walk, parking there is not free in most cases. The house is furnished and equipped as pictured in the description, very clean and comfortable. Only airplanes starting from and landing in PDL are really very low above this area of the city. I can truly recommend this location for a family with two children/teens.

Schönes Haus unweit des Zentrums

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus ist sehr individuell, liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr großzügig geschnitten und liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße fußläufig zum Zentrum (10-15'). Die wenigen Flugzeuge am Tag haben uns nicht weiter gestört. In der Straße selber war es uns zu eng zum Parken, aber am oberen Ende gab es Parkplätze und noch genügend weitere auf einem öffentlichen Parkplatz in ca. 200 m Entfernung. Supermarkt und Bar mit sehr leckerem Kaffee sind um die Ecke. Auch haben wir geschätzt, dass die Schlafräume eine Klimaanlage hatten. Die Treppe nach oben ist recht steil, aber noch machbar. Gut gefallen hat uns auch der große Tisch in der Küche und die superbequeme Couch zum chillen und fernsehen :-) Gefehlt hat uns lediglich ein Weinflaschenöffner, ein Brotmesser und ein nicht rostender Handtuchhalter. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr nett und immer schnell. Alles lief reibungslos. Alles in allem können wir die Unterkunft für 2-4 Personen wirklich empfehlen :-))

Ponta Delgada

Hervorragende Einrichtung, alles vorhanden.Gute Erreichbarkeit und guter Start für Ausflüge. Wie überall in Ponte Delgado starten und landen Flugzeuge am nahebelegenden Flughafen, aber das wird durch die schöne und in Fußdistanz befindliche Innenstadt ausgeglichen.
