Welcome to Siedlisko pod Witoszą—your private wooden cottage in Staniszów, at the foot of the Karkonosze Mountains. Here, you can spend time with family and friends while still having space to retreat. The entire house is built of wood, and the interiors are also finished with natural wood. This creates a warm, cozy atmosphere—from breakfast at the large table to a relaxing evening after an outing.
VACATION TOGETHER, ENJOY PRIVACY
You book the entire house exclusively for your group. The layout, featuring separate living areas with their own kitchenettes and bathrooms, is particularly well-suited for several families or friends who are traveling together but still appreciate having their own private space.
There are five bedrooms, four bathrooms, and several kitchen areas available. Single beds can be arranged according to your desired layout; sofa beds provide additional sleeping accommodations. We’ll be happy to coordinate the exact bed arrangement with you before your arrival.
A shared living room with a large dining table and a fully equipped kitchen forms the heart of the house. Here, you can cook, eat, play, and plan the next day of your vacation together. The additional kitchenettes allow you to independently prepare a cup of coffee or a light meal in between meals.
RELAX OUTDOORS
In the garden, you’ll find space to relax and spend time together in the fresh air. The covered seating area with large tables and a gas grill is perfect for outdoor meals. A fire pit provides the ideal setting for a cozy evening. Upon request, we can provide firewood for the campfire.
There’s a play area for children; the lawn also offers plenty of space for running around and playing together. There are six parking spaces available at the house.
OUTDOOR HOT TUB AND SAUNA
An outdoor hot tub and a sauna are available by prior arrangement and for an additional fee. Please let us know your preferences before arrival, if possible, so that we can check availability and make the necessary preparations. These amenities are not automatically included in the room rate.
EXPLORE STANISZÓW AND THE GIANT MOUNTAINS
Our house is located in Staniszów in Lower Silesia. From here, you can combine walks in the surrounding area with excursions to the Giant Mountains. Jelenia Góra, Cieplice, Karpacz, and Szklarska Poręba offer a variety of destinations for your vacation.
Whether it’s hiking, biking, exploring historic castles and parks, or visiting the thermal baths in Cieplice: you can tailor your stay to your own pace. A car is handy for exploring the region and running errands.
ALSO IDEAL FOR A LONGER STAY
The combination of a shared kitchen, separate living areas, and a garden makes Siedlisko a pleasant base for a longer vacation. After active days, you can simply stay home, cook together, and enjoy each other’s company.
