Welcome to your home away from home in the desirable, five star- Locust Lakes Community in the Poconos. Drive into the long, spacious driveway to your vacation get away. This home boasts an open feel with vaulted ceilings. an upper game/bar area loft which overlooks the downstairs living room. Home offers a sun-room and deck downstairs along with a second story deck off the loft. This home has three bedrooms- third bedroom can sleep up to four people- the bottom bunk is a full bed, and it also has a pull out trundle bed. Kitchen/dining and living rooms downstairs are all open for hanging out with your guests while enjoying a fire. On the bottom deck there is a grill and fire pit that is available to use! In the summer months enjoy the three beautiful beaches, tennis and basketball courts- and in the winter months enjoy the free ski lift and ice skating the community offers! Give it a stay, You won't be disappointed!

Nice and clean

This house was particularly clean, great for a get away. Fire pit was ready to use complete with marshmallows. Beds were comfortable , bathrooms clean. Will considered returning here if we are up this way again

Wonderful Weekend Away

I went with my roommates to this property for a birthday weekend away and had an awesome time. There were multiple lakes with beaches to spend the days and we did grilling on the back porch at night. Very accessible and accommodating, would absolutely return again!

Great Pocono stay!

We had a great stay at this cozy house in Locust Lake. Traveled with myself, my husband and two small children ages 1 and 3 and this house suited our needs. The community is great with so many friendly people and 3 very clean beaches and playgrounds. We had a great time playing at the beach, playgrounds, fishing, having campfires, and seeing all the wildlife. The owners, Scott and Juliana were very easy to work with. Overall we have a really great time and would definitely return for another trip!

Great Area

Loved the area and access to all the amenities. I wish we would have known before booking that there is no AC and you have to bring your own towels/sheets. Inside space was perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids to all have their own space. Loved the outside decks and sunroom.

Nice little weekend getaway

We stayed for the weekend and had a great time at the house. Check-in was easy and the owners were very responsive and accommodating with any questions I had ahead of time. The house was very comfortable and being situated on a wooded lot helped to keep it somewhat cool. There is no airconditioning but it wasn't too big of a problem. The owners have two fans and we kept the windows open most of the time. The upstairs bedroom is missing a screen so we couldn't have the window open in there. That was kind of a bummer but fortunately we had the fans to keep us cool at night. My only suggestions are to get some brighter lighting and fix the squeaky bunk beds. There are a bunch of different lamps and lighting sources, but they are all very dim. With the house being in a shaded area, lighting is kind of crucial. Also we were traveling with two children who slept on the bunk beds and they were very squeaky to sleep on. All in all, we had a very stress free comfortable stay and would love to come back again. We also loved the lakes and the community feel.

A great choice!

We loved our 5 days at this gem of a house that feels like a comfortable cabin. We enjoyed being in the trees and catching glimpses of the lake, even from inside during the summer. There were also plenty of options for enjoying the outdoor space on the property, including two decks. The house was very clean and the hosts were super-helpful.The community has a nice offering of amenities. Bring your bike, tennis racket, and beach gear. We look forward to returning soon!
