Cozy fall days, snowy winter weekends and year-round lake escapes await at Blissful Bear—a professionally styled, dog-friendly Arrowhead Lake chalet for up to 10 guests.

After hiking through colorful forests or spending the day at a nearby ski mountain, return for a soak in the private hot tub, a favorite record beside the propane fireplace and s’mores around the wood-burning fire pit.

Planning for warmer weather? Blissful Bear is directly across Arrowhead Road from the lake and an easy 1/3-mile stroll from Beach 3. Guests also enjoy two provided kayaks, four community beaches, three seasonal heated pools and recreation throughout Arrowhead Lake.

Inside are four individually styled bedrooms plus an open sleeping loft, 2.5 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and individually controlled heating and air-conditioning.

BATHROOMS

The first-floor king suite has a private bathroom with a shower, vanity, heat lamp and storage. A second-floor hall bathroom includes a bathtub and shower combination. A first-floor half bathroom is located off the living area near the staircase.

THE GREAT ROOM

The open-concept great room has cathedral ceilings, abundant natural light and views through the trees toward the lake.

Settle into the leather seating beside the remote-controlled propane fireplace, gather for a board game or enjoy a movie on the Samsung smart TV with soundbar. The open loft above keeps the room light and welcoming.

A wool rug, vintage landscapes and woodland details add warmth while preserving the great room’s airy, open feeling.

KITCHEN, PANTRY AND DINING

The kitchen is equipped for shared meals, holiday dinners and relaxed mornings with quartz countertops, stainless-steel appliances, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, drip coffee maker, single-serve coffee maker, cookware, dishes and serving pieces.

The walk-in pantry includes bakeware, serving trays, food-storage containers, a slow cooker, waffle maker, mixer, cast-iron griddle and shatter-resistant dishes for outdoor dining.

Gather around the Pottery Barn dining table for meals, puzzles, games or conversation while enjoying views toward the lake.

MUSIC AND FAMILY TIME

A vintage-style record player and growing vinyl collection await on the dining-room buffet. Choose a favorite album while cooking, gathering around the table or relaxing beside the fireplace.

Music has a wonderful way of bringing generations together, and some of the best moments at Blissful Bear may begin with someone deciding what to play next.

Families will also find a crib, high chair, safety gates, children’s table and chairs, kid-friendly dishes, books, toys, board games and rolling deck gates for children and dogs.

LAUNDRY

A separate laundry room with an LG washer and dryer makes beach days, ski trips and longer stays easier.

HOT TUB, FIRE PIT AND OUTDOOR LIVING

The private seven-person Wellis hot tub is sheltered beneath a hard-roof gazebo and reached by a solar-lit pathway. Enjoy a peaceful soak after hiking, skiing, kayaking or exploring the Poconos.

The wooded fire-pit area includes Adirondack seating for conversation, stories and s’mores beneath the trees.

The expansive lake-facing deck offers cushioned lounge seating, outdoor dining and a gas grill. Enjoy fall color and crisp mountain air or gather for summer meals after a day at the lake. A hammock is available during warmer months.

THE ARROWHEAD LAKE EXPERIENCE

Blissful Bear is in the private Arrowhead Lake community, with 42 miles of private roads for walking, biking and exploring. The community includes two lakes, four beaches, three seasonal heated pools and recreation for every generation.

Beach 3 is approximately 1/3 mile from the chalet—an easy stroll down Arrowhead Road. The sandy beach includes a playground and shaded pavilion and is a wonderful place to swim, launch the provided kayaks or relax beside the water.

Across the community, guests can enjoy recreation for different ages and interests, from active days outdoors to relaxed afternoons at the lake or indoor time at the Lodge and Family Game Room.

Seasonal gear in the large shed includes two kayaks with life vests, bicycles with helmets, beach chairs, umbrella, lake floaties, cornhole and pickleball equipment. Please return everything after use.

Blissful Bear is within the private Arrowhead Lake community. Mandatory community registration and temporary-membership fees apply to all rental parties. Please review the current requirements and fee schedule before booking.

Community amenities and schedules vary by season. Winter weather can affect roads and travel times. Up to two dogs are welcome per stay; the pet fee applies.
