I stay here semi frequently. As usual the room was clean, but even just a few years after opening there are various aspects such as grouting and wall paint that are already looking very tired or damaged. What separates a great hotel from just a decent one is maintenance.

Room was excellent. Clean and compact. Tea and coffee facilities. A compact clean and tidy bathroom with everything we needed for one night. Bed was comfortable. Brilliant location (we had a gig at the Plymouth Pavilions next door). On the way in we missed the carpark and ended up in one round the corner (3 min walk) that was £4 cheaper 👍 check in was quick. The check in team were great but the new process for paying for parking is absolutely ridiculous. Downloading a new app (that will most likely only ever be used for parking at the Moxy Plymouth) multiple attempts to get it working - filling in totally irrelevant personal information - it literally took over 15minutes to pay for parking.
