Check in time was 4:00 pm, later than most hotel's , and yet my room wasn't ready until 5:00. After checking in i was handed a map to the building my room was in a 1/4 mile down the street.

An hour wait for our room to be ready. Staff was nice and understanding and refunded half the trip. Room and bathroom were clean. Pool was quiet, pool floor questionable. Nice time overall.

Our room was clean, but looked a little run down. Disappointed that the concierge was in another building. Coffee in the room was Keurig with 3 decafs and 1 regular. Wifi broken and no one to talk to about it unless I wanted to run to a building across the street and down the road. Pricy room not worth it.

We stayed at the BayPoint Building which is not connected to the main building. It is about a 8-10 walk. The building itself is older. We did not have a desk attendant. The room was quaint but it did have a smell (hard to describe). Air conditioner was super loud. We did encounter some con webs here and there in the room. View out the window was beautiful. Not enough room to actually sit comfortably out on the balcony. Standing room only.

Room not in main building was across the street from lake with highway. No amenities in my building no staff. View sucked. Room was nice. I was looking forward to activities and pool with jacuzzi but, having to drive there and no locker room to change for the hotel residents in other buildings.

The town of Meredith is so pretty and the hotel is gorgeous but it has several buildings spread out over two blocks. If you really want to enjoy, I would recommend staying in the main building where the spa is located with the lake in the back. It is the prettiest. The food and the restaurant was very good.

Room was clean & comfortable, with coffee maker & tea, & in the Lobby alcove, Hot Chocolate & a microwave. People were friendly, only confusion was check-in. I stayed at the Palmer Inn & had to go to Church Landing to check-in which was a walk, especially in the rain. I did get a ride back though.
