The staff were good/friendly.The one bar/resturant staff, Dylan was exceptional and the one Security Guard was very friendly and helpful. You can see that this hotel was lovely in it's day but it is looking tired now. The pool needs attention and the room bathrooms need a good scrubbing, and the ceiling fans need to be cleaned. The patio furniture needs to be restained. However, the resturant food was very good.

the room and the hotel were nice enough. the best thing about the place is that it has a great beach with nice snorkeling, just right there. we stayed there for 6 nights and they would not clean the room while we stayed. the place is also in need of some serious maintenance. we also had a minor theft (cash and a credit card), that we are pretty certain happened from our room and the mgmt was not very interested or helpful.

The ocean view is the best part of the hotel , pool condition is poor crumbling edge breakfast was good when it was to order , buffet rice with beans was cold and dry, eggs were cooked but wet, bread could not get toasted when asked , room did not made up daily , fridge kept freezing everything even after turning it down. Cushions on all chairs very stained and some missing. Only 1 blow dryer for the whole hotel. Would not recommend this hotel.

Excellent stay at the Dunama Hotel in Playa Flamingo. Rooms cleaned daily, comfortable beds, sliding glass doors to ocean view decks, tasty meals, stairs to black sand beach for swimming and snorkeling. Nice pool and swim up bar, fun lobby with early evening music. Lobby managers can help with arranging offsite sailing, etc.

Staff was absolutely great. Had a poolside room and an absolute blast celebrating New Year’s Eve. We hiked down the private beach several times. It’s beautiful and quiet. Playa Flamingo is only a 10 min walk as well. It’s a popular spot worth checking out. Definitely need to eat at Coco Loco.

I would give more stars but something you need to know: - The personals are very kind and the location it’s perfect with easy access to the beach - but the resort seems old and looks like doesn’t have enough budget to be maintained to the original looks - the amenities and rooms supplies should be upgraded/replaced

What other reviews said is true. Pool has mold all over wall and corners. The hot tub is even worst. Room towels stained, spring box of the bed with blood stain. Shower did not work 3 drops of water, . It is true. Wifi work well for me during my stay.
