Was very clean. Wasn't made aware that the second bedroom was in another little house next to it. Upstairs with a half bath downstairs. Smelled like an old barn. We chose to stay in the main little house and utilize the rollaways in the living room. There was no bedding avail so we had to strip the beds.It was difficult to get up the gravel driveway in my car but my friend with all wheel drive was able to.It was not easy to get down to the creek and table as the stairs had all eroded away. So we had to walk down the gravel driveway and over. This is fine if you're young and nimble, not so easy with a cane. The worst: rodents or pests in the building. Loud enough at night to wake one up. Out last night there a rodent (we think a small squirrel or very large rat) jumped on my friend's pillow and ran over the top of her. We spent the night (1:00am on) awake and waiting for daylight to leave. I know we were in the woods and critters are to be expected, but there are ways to block entry for them, as well. There is more but this will give an idea. It was nice and quiet, but when you consider how much one pays for two night - and one night was so awful we didn't even sleep and got out by 6am, I had to leave a review so you can at least ask questions.
