Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, listing accuracy
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! MUST READ! Nice on the outside but horrible people to deal with!!! The air conditioner & fridge were not working. The room was very warm, and the fridge would not go on.. The kitchen was very dirty and the floor had foot prints all over. When we mentioned that to Elisa, she simply said "oh, im sorry, the cleaner must have been in a hurry, I will clean it now" it was a mess! We had to wait & waste 2 hours to "wait and see if the air conditioning & fridge kicked in" as she fiddled around pretending to fix things. She finally called a man (possibly her husband-Nicolo) to come down. He tried another 20 min...we have now wasted about 3 hrs. We wanted to leave at that point & asked for a refund. They both begged us to stay & said they would not refund our $. After 30 min more, they said they'd switch us to a different room. They said we could stay for the night or for the entire stay but it had to be cleaned still! More time wasted. The next morn 2 men came banging on the door screaming we had to leave. We asked for our $ back and they began to swear at us in Italian. We were threatened & told the police were being called. Finally after arguing, they gave us half our $ back. We lost an entire day and $ for the next night. The worst experience ever. They will respond & lie to this just as they did to Expedia. What a shame. We tried to be as kind, patient & courteous as possible but it was not good enough. I would really consider looking at other properties.
