Lobby was dirty with track prints all over from the snow. Trolleys were self managed which is fine but they only had 2-3 for the whole building so tracking them down is an issue. Staff was nice enough but there is clearly a lack of staff and upkeep with the building. Parking was under renovations so the pool was closed. The parking we had to use was TD which was a good 10 minute hike in the snow, with the kids if you had to travel alone. Rooms looked old and need a facelift. My biggest issues were the pet friendly rules. While I love pets, our first room felt stuffy and had fleas, we were promptly placed in a different room but I would be even more upset if my kids had slept in those beds had I didn't check beforehand. No bed bugs, just fleas. Breakfast was fine but nothing impressive, the staff was diligent about making sure the breakfast bar was organized and filled which I appreciate. Lots of potential in this hotel but unfortunately, it fell very short for me.

Another good 2 night stay. Did have a slow shower drain but reported that to maintenance and it was fixed right away. Good service. And also the restaurant is quite good featuring an American menu with a Southern emphasis. The parking garage demo is moving quickly by the way. More parking close to the entrance coming soon.

First, when i called the phone had so much static, it was very difficult to hear/understand what the front desk vlerk was saying. I only thought they could get me in fir the night. Our room was ok but the TV didn't work. Nor did the room phone. Front desk clerk said no maintenance people were there as they had "All gone home for Christmas." Then, she said "Oh there is someone, i will send him up." A poir electric connection fixed the TV. That person was very nice. On check out, i was charged by Expedia, where i booked the stay. I was also charged by the Holiday Inn. The front desk clerk did promise to fix that. She called me later to ensure that had been taken care of. The Evening desk clerk, the TV and room phone not working, made our stay less than we have come to expect at the Holiday Inn. The morning desk clerk and the gentleman who fixed our TV were excellent.
