The space
Spacious and bright, this beautifully restored and updated apartment includes two bedrooms, a large living room, a dining room and both a newly renovated kitchen and a remodeled bathroom. As you enter the apartment through the original oval-topped front door, you step into a small welcoming entryway. The first room to your left is the beautiful, brightly lit living room with a unique and useful walk-in closet. The living room is furnished with a new sofa, comfortable chairs, side tables and lighting. A television has been provided for your viewing needs; an HDMI cable is required to connect to a computer. The next room you enter is the fully furnished and decorated dining room which includes a vintage table, 6 matching chairs, a hutch and a buffet. The kitchen is directly behind the dining room and contains simple white cabinets. The counters are a mottled tan laminate and the floor is wood. Large windows make the space bright, although all of the windows have 2” white wood blinds for privacy. There is a single bowl stainless steel sink, a refrigerator, a gas oven and stove top as well as a microwave, a small 18” dishwasher and a full size washer and dryer. The kitchen drawers and cupboards contain kitchen towels, hot pads and pots & pans as well as dishes, glassware and flatware which are for your use. Small appliances like a coffee pot, a hot air popcorn popper and a toaster, etc. are either on the counters or in the cupboards. We have included a small supply of items like dishwasher detergent and dish soap, etc. for your convenience. We will not replace these as they are used up but we wanted you to at least be able to enjoy staying a few days without needing to purchase these basic supplies. We have also filled the canisters with some popcorn, flour, sugar and coffee. The newly remodeled bathroom is to the left of the kitchen and has a white tile floor, a shower, a single bowl sink set into the vanity and a new toilet. Eight sets of towels are located in the apartment for your use. Some of the sets are stored in the bathroom while the remaining sets are stored in the dresser drawers in each bedroom. The large bedroom is located across from the bathroom. It features a beautiful cream colored comforter on a queen-size bed with a comfortable ‘Orthopedic Pillow Top’ mattress and box springs. There is a closet for your clothes, a dresser, a bed-side table and a table lamp. The two side windows can be opened for ventilation. The small bedroom is located beside the bathroom. It features an attractive blue Matelassé comforter on a full size bed with a comfortable ‘Orthopedic Pillow Top’ mattress and box springs. There is a closet for your clothes, a dresser, a bed-side table and a table lamp. The window can be opened for ventilation.
