Things did not go right from the time we entered the lobby. The person behind the counter did not say even a 'hello'. He started with I need your ID! Then he proceeded to give us the keys to Room 419. We trudged up to the room only to find that it was not cleaned after the last guest had vacated. We went back to the lounge - and there wasn't even an acknowledgement of our troubles, much less an apology. Instead they asked me "what was wrong with the room" after I had told them that it hadn't been cleaned. The guy then gave me keys to Room 411. At check in we had explicitly stated we wanted to pay cash and not to charge our credit card. But on checkout I noticed that they'd charged our credit card afterall! There was no tea in the room - only coffee. Even at breakfast, they had just a regular black tea and a mint tea. When I asked if they had Green tea, the girl was helpful. She opened a cupboard to look through. There were other types of tea but no Green tea. Yet, none of the other teas were set out for guests to use. Overall, the experience was not what I expected from Holiday Inn.

Lobby was very nice but the rooms seemed to be a bit out of date, rooms were dark due to the small windows. (not the hotels fault) every time I showered I'd have to lay down two towels because no matter what you did the water from the shower leaked out, the curtain was not long enough. not a bad stay, but the rooms could use a bit of an update.

Everything was great except breakfast. Staff stood around for 10 minutes talking and not restocking drinks and food. At least 30-40 people showedup for breakfast 20 min. before closing and there was not enough food or drink.

Good stay no issues

The breakfast was very good for the continental style. It was. The pancake machine was a little wonky, but served its purpose. If there was any complaint at all, it was that there should’ve been more bacon each day. The young lady who checked us in, whose name we didn’t get, but found out was from Uzbekistan, was great. She was very helpful, very pleasant and we did enjoy talking with her.

Not terrible, but needs a lot of love

You're not downtown, so there's pros and cons to that. Don't navigate by address - there are 11 buildings using 875 Greentree. Room is HUGE. Beds are quite firm, pillows are not. Beds in our room (719) are also right in line with the AC, so it's blowing right into you all night. Not ideal. TV is too small for the room in it's current configuration. Lots of hot water, fridge is extra cool. You hear EVERYTHING. Breakfast was average but plentiful. Coffee is always available. Don't believe attached restaurant is part of the hotel.

This hotel had a very friendly and helpful staff. When one of our group needed a reading light, the front desk person gave us his! In 312, we had some problems with the toilet not o flushing, but they did offer to give us a new room. All in all, it was a very nice stay! We enjoyed the alcove restaurant next-door. Good food and service. Workout room was well equipped.
