The hotel is convenient and walkable to Pitt and the UPMC hospitals, so there’s that. And it’s clean and near lots of cheap restaurants, but it’s still a bit dated on the inside and the breakfast food is pricey and fair at best. However; I’d stay again if I needed to be in the middle of Oakland. Also, you can get to the Pittsburgh airport easily. It’s four block walk to the Forbes and Chesterfield stop to catch the 28X airport flyer bus (outbound) for $2.75. It’s a 1 1/4 hour trip approximately. A Uber was going to be $65-70 during non-peak hours.

I was extremely disappointed when I received the credit card statement that i was charged $40.00 for parking. At check in the desk clerk told me the parking charge was $35.00. I was not told the correct price for parking at check in or your clerk is not up to date on your extra fees. Either way I would like to see a $5.00 credit on my credit account. Thank You
