Burning Daylight is what we call our modern and spacious a-frame cabin and that's exactly what you can do here! Relax and burn your days on the large porch with a gorgeous view of Lake Bob Sandlin. There's plenty to do around the property with swimming, fishing, kayaking, playing yard games or exploring the woods. Take a short car ride to scope out the walking trails at the State Park or the cute downtown area of Pittsburg, TX. There is a lovely winery to visit as well as some local restaurants. Vaughn's Catfish and The Cove at the neighboring Cypress Springs Lake are some favorites. If you are feeling very adventurous the Barnwell Off-Road Mountain Recreation Center is calling your name!

Our cabin is family vacation ready with a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of space for everyone. Two en-suite queen bedrooms, living, dining, and kitchen are on the main floor while the bunk room with four twin beds, another bath and sitting area are on the second floor. The third floor is a loft with a cozy king bed and a wonderful view of the piney woods.

Burning Daylight is also pet friendly!

Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned cabin, featuring a kitchen with a refrigerator and an oven. There's a private balcony. I absolutely loved this property. Me and my family rented this cabin and we all were very happy. The views of the lake were amazing and relaxing. I know I will be visiting again in the future. Alexandra was responsive and awesome. Thank you again for an epic weekend.

Great place to stay on the lake!

Nicely appointed cabin with quality dock on the water. Very quiet here. Easy to relax and fish. Very comfy beds.

Nice Getaway

The property is just like the listing, house is beautiful, yard is open with great lake view. Driving to the property is a sight, very wooded areas. you will see deer out walking around. Viewing the lake in the mornings off the outside deck is awesome. Its peaceful and quiet great way to start your day. The dock is perfect if you have a boat. My wife and four kids enjoyed being able to fish off the dock and jumping off out to swim. they had plenty of fun. The cell service is spotty but was to be expected. there is Wi-Fi so that helped. The property has an incline, the driveway to the house is little rough due to the water runoffs, being its just a dirt road to the home. The property is off a county road and going to town is about a 15 min drive if you need supplies or groceries. Alexandra was very responsive and made sure we were comfortable. I would definitely enjoy staying here again, its a nice getaway. We really enjoyed our time there!!
