Disappointed by the Experience – Not Marriott Stan

As a business owner in the event management industry, I expect a high level of professionalism and hospitality—especially from a brand like Marriott. Unfortunately, my recent stay did not meet those expectations. From the condition of the room to the handling of accommodation requests, the experience fell short of what I’ve come to associate with Marriott properties. It was not the caliber I anticipated, and overall, it felt absolutely unacceptable for a facility under this brand. I’m happy to share more details if contacted by the booking platform. I hope this feedback helps prompt improvements, as I’ve always held Marriott to a higher standard.

Comfortable, modern and reasonably spacious room with good sized bathroom. Member of staff on reception when we checked in was lovely - morning staff disinterested. Very comfortable bed. Quiet despite main road outside. Breakfast was Starbucks. Very nice, freshly prepared, delightful staff but limited choice and quite expensive,

Everything was excellent until alarms were going off starting at 5am. Power was lost and no way to get to front desk or even call them. I stood in my doorway for awhile hoping someone would go around explaining what happened and as soon as I went back to sleep at 7 another alarm went off! I ended up over sleeping. I didn’t know what was happening. Desk told me they had a power outage. Why all the alarms for a power outage 😡

the front desk not cooperative . the rooms dont have complementery water . the price is so high but nothing welcoming . i reserved with breakfast . then i saw there was no breakfast . actualy you choose something from thw menu and you have to pay yourself . ( they get breakfast money in advance but there is no item . evweyrhing you choose you have to pay extra . they have Actually taken breakfast fron their system . front desk woman was rude i told here there is no coffee in my room she said i cant bring coffee little pack up and only her and the security were in the hotel as she said . merriot has changed a lot but the worst is personnel they are not good
