Hotel very central for Pitlochry. Staff friendly and efficient and will go out of their way to try and make your stay enjoyable. There was a good selection of food for breakfast and the meat is locally sourced. Black pudding, haggis and sausages excellent.

Good hotel which met all our needs. Our room was located just above the entrance so people noise was overwhelming and inconsiderate but thats a people issue no fault of the hotel. Hotel was full and hated to see entitled people parking their cars on lawns.

Clean tidy rooms in the town centre , has aspa and bar , very good breakfast with good choice ,helpful staff, no evening meals served . Large airy room with shower ensuite. Would book again. One gripe was the room has no coat hooks or shelves only small cupboard with a few hangers so most items like coats etc laid on the floor , also no place to hang your towels after your shower, minor thing but important if you have wet coats etc.

Overall clean, comfortable and great location. Wasn’t advised before arrival that evening meals are no longer served however you can dine at the sister hotel with a 10% discount. Also after standing in a queue at reception (for a drink from the bar) for around 10mins getting to the front and told by the receptionist that she couldn’t serve me, she was the only one working and had to see to those checking in first and asked me to come back later!!!!!!

A beautiful old country house that has been a hotel for many years. It is used by coaches so can be very busy. It needs some TLC. The carpet is worn in places and the paint is chipped. I arrived too early for check in (1pm) so walked into the village. I stayed 2 nights. I had dinner the first night and it was good value for the price. The staff in the dining room were attentive and professional. It’s a 30 minute drive to Inverness but has lovely gardens and is very quiet.

Despite providing adapted rooms for mobility challenged guests, this hotel provided no handicapped parking, only offering parking at all on a first come, first served basis. Half of that parking was at the end of the property and gravel surface.
