Nice room and spa facilities although quite small so would not be ideal if busier. The easy walk into Pitlochry was very convenient. I would rate this hotel 5* as a lot of the little touches I would expect were missing. The service was lacking vs other 5* hotels.

After speaking with the general manager regarding the price we paid for the room I felt she was try to make me feel guilty for their pricing mistake, even although this was our 3rd stay this year. She was not very pleasent to speak with. As long as this GM is in place we will venture to other hotels.

We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a superior woodland lodge, which was really lovely. Walked around Koch faskally and into Pitlochry which was a lovely. This is such a nice hotel. We brought our young dog and she was very welcome, they have a cute welcome pack for dogs that includes a bed etc The breakfast was amazing. Our only negatives were that the outside hot tub was not hot enough, when it is 0 degrees outside the hot tub needs to be hot! Our other negative is that there’s a security light outside the lodge rooms that is super sensitive so it came on constantly through the night and the blind couldn’t keep the light out and there was no door on that area of the room either to shut it out.

Beautiful hotel - staff extremely helpful and efficient. Well appointed rooms - lovely decor and furnishings, bathrooms had plentiful toiletries and amenity kits. Cleanliness throughout. Food was fantastic in both restaurants - especially enjoyed the dinner at Sandemans. Big thank you to Daniel and his colleagues for making it a lovely experience - and huge congratulations to Chef and his team for the fabulous menu. The food was outstanding! Enjoyed using the pool and sauna facilities - spa staff were very friendly and helpful too. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to experience great food and Scottish hospitality! Hoping to make a return visit for sure. Thank you so much!
