Beachfront house, 2 km from the Gulf of Baratti and the Etruscan Archaeological Park

Relax with the whole family or with friends in this very comfortable vacation rental, located 2 km from one of Tuscany’s most beautiful beaches.

A two-story house/apartment with a private, fenced-in terrace and a large garden, featuring a spacious living room on the first floor divided into a sitting area and a kitchen/dining area; on the first floor, there are two bedrooms (one for two people and the other for three to four people), a bathroom with a shower.

The accommodation faces east and consists of:

- on the first floor, a large 45 m² living room with a workspace equipped with Wi-Fi near the entrance, a sitting area with a sofa and two armchairs, and a TV;
at the back of the room, a large dining table and a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need: dishwasher, oven and stovetop, refrigerator with freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle...

- upstairs, the landing leads to the two bedrooms and the bathroom:
One bedroom sleeps 2 people, with a view of the garden, featuring a split double bed and a closet:

The second bedroom, located across from it, sleeps 3–4 people, with a double bed that can be split into two singles, a third bed with a pull-out drawer for a fourth person (preferably a child), and closets.
The bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet, and bidet.

Outside, in front of the entrance, there is a private, fenced-in area with a terrace furnished with a table and chairs, lounge chairs available, and a large umbrella.
In the large, fenced-in communal garden, there is a charcoal grill and a shower. Parking is available on the property with 2 reserved parking spaces (access via remote control).

GULF OF BARATTI
is one of the most unspoiled and wild stretches of coastline in the area, with fine, glistening sand. There are numerous hiking and biking trails leading to several coves or for a walk to Cala Moresca in Piombino-Salivoli.
On the beach, you can rent boats, inflatable boats, SUPs, or go diving; in addition to the public beach, there are also 2 beach clubs and 5 restaurants.

CHILDREN
There is a playground in town and another one right next to the residence.

BIKING
A bike path takes you to Baratti or Rimigliano Beach in 10 minutes, or you can bike or run to San Vincenzo along the pine forest on the coast via Viale della Principessa. For more experienced riders, there are the hills around Campiglia Marittima and Suvereto, with stops at local wineries. Bikes can be rented 100 m from the house.


AREA The entire area is a natural region that has remained unspoiled and authentic, while at the same time offering easy access to the main attractions of the Etruscan Coast, the beaches of the Piombino promontory, San Vincenzo, and the Island of Elba.

Inland, you’ll find several beautiful medieval villages just a 15- to 30-minute drive away, such as Suvereto, Campiglia Marittima, Castagneto Carducci, Bolgheri, and Massa Marittima. During the summer, you can take part in various local festivals.

In the Val di Cornia Nature Park, families will enjoy the tourist mining train or the doll museum in Suvereto. Every Thursday in August, there’s also a night tour under the stars.

SPA RESORTS
Just a 10-minute drive away are the Venturina and Calidario Thermal Baths, featuring a picturesque thermal pond with warm water where you can swim outdoors even in the off-season or enjoy the charming spa. For spa lovers, the Sasseta Thermal Baths, nestled in nature, are also about 30 minutes away.

SHOPPING
In town, 200 m from the house, there are a few small grocery stores selling basic items, a pharmacy, a tobacco and stationery shop, and a café.
A 10-15-minute drive away in Venturina, there are several supermarkets where you can do your weekly grocery shopping.
Markets are held in Venturina/Campiglia on Fridays, in Riotorto and San Vincenzo on Saturdays, in Suvereto on Mondays, and in Piombino on Wednesdays.
Every other weekend, Piombino hosts the “L’arte dell’ingegno” arts and antiques market.

TRANSPORTATION
From the village, you can reach the beach by bike in 2 km, partly along the bike path, or take a shuttle bus that stops almost right in front of the house.

From the small "Populonia station," you can also take the bus to visit Populonia Alta, the only Etruscan city situated above sea level, offering breathtaking views of all the Tuscan islands, as well as some good restaurants and artisan shops, an Etruscan museum, a major Etruscan archaeological park (one of the most important in Italy), and an Etruscan necropolis.

Just 2 minutes from the house, you can take the regional train to Piombino, Elba Island, Campiglia Marittima, or continue on to Castiglioncello or Florence.

The apartment is part of a condominium with a large park where you can play, relax, have a barbecue, or take a shower—which is especially appreciated when returning from the beach.

Private parking with 2 parking spaces within the condominium.

Bedding and towels available for rent upon request for €12 per person.
Beach towels available for rent for €5 (must be ordered in advance).

IN JULY AND AUGUST: weekly rentals only

The sixth bed is suitable only for children.
