This quiet cottage sits right off of HWY 52 in Pinnacle, NC. The property is connected to Pilot Mountain State Park on two sides. PMSP trails can be accessed from here. Right down the road, there is a river access to the Yadkin River and horseback riding trails. Hanging Rock state park and the Dan River are only a few miles away. The historic town of Pilot Mountain is down the road. Enjoy the beautiful view of the mountain and the feel of being isolated while close to restaurants and activities

The little cottage was perfect for me and my pup for a couple nights. Doing some trail run training, it was easy to walk to the trails from the house! Quick response from the host even with a late night check in. would def recommend and will stay again in the future!

This was great access to Mount Airy, Pilot Mountain and Winston-Salem. 20 min to Mount Airy and WS. The place was comfortable and enjoyable with a beautiful view. I will stay there again! I will bring my own Keurig coffee and bring comfortable slippers to walk around. The floor is not carpeted, no complaints, just advice to bring comfy slippers.

Great little cottage!

Very convenient to Pilot Mountain and hiking trails. It’s a small cottage but perfect for a couple that wants to be close to the park. The host, Drew, was super communicative. No issues at all. Mt Airy is about 15 minutes away and was a cool little town. Lots of backyard space for your dog to play as well.

Property is as listed. Great place for a couple and their pet(s). We loved having the view of pilot mountain off the back porch and being located within 10-15 mins from pilot mountain, Pinnacle, and the wedding venue we were attending a wedding at. If you like feeling secure at night, this may not be the place for you. My wife had a couple concerns with there being only exterior entrances to the cabin and no closed off bedroom. Window curtains over the front door could also be a nice touch, as vehicle lights woke us up a good bit though out the stay. Overall, this is a good budget stay that feels like a large hotel room more than a home itself. We would stay again.

Precious little cabin

If you are looking for a tidy little cabin to be 'home base' for a stay in the shadow of Pilot Mountain - This is it. The host was very attentive to my requests and quickly attempted to rectify a noise coming from the H2O heater. I always say: It is less about the problems you encounter and more about how those problems are addressed!Drew did a great job and I highly recommend!

This cozy little cottage at pilot Mountain is by far amazing. It was perfectly situated to be able to see the mountain. The mountain is literally in the backyard. It was an amazing backdrop that I took wonderful pictures the cottage house everything that you will need for your stay Very easy to maneuver through. It was perfectly located to get to Mount Airy to visit Mayberry and just about a 15 minute drive from Winston-Salem. There is a brand new Walmart. That’s really close by the property was well-maintained by the VRBO host and the grass had been freshly cut so that was very nice and thoughtful by far. This was a five out of five if I could’ve given it a tent and they had 10 stars. I would definitely rate it as a 10 very pleased with my stay

second stay here! Check in and out is super easy. They had it nice and cool when i got there too which was nice cause it was 100 outside! close to trails; walking distance and a lot in driving distance as well. has what you’d need to make a meal in the kitchen but close to town. my only real sugguestion would be to replace the outdoor furniture. it’s not really usable. the front are metal and super hot in the summer and the back ones are just tore up pretty bad. but even if that wasn’t replaced i’d still stay here again haha.

Location was great, response from Host - quick and a nice piece of property. My only comment is I'm assuming he isn't quite finished with the decro because there were no curtains in the windows and really no place to put you clothes except leaving them in your suitcase. It would be great if there had been a c'est with drawers. Other than that, I would recommend this location.

Overall I didn’t like the stay and we ended up leaving a day sooner. The bugs were really annoying and the cleaning crew sucks! There was bugs in the refrigerator, the stove panel was pushed out(I was scared to use it), the floor was dirty and I felt unsafe because the windows weren’t covered(anybody can look in at you). I do appreciate the owner responding promptly and refunding me the cleaning fee back!

Your place was very comfortable and cozy. However we felt that the addition of more essentials and other items would have given a 5 star rating. Having owned a rental property, I realized what the market wanted in a vrbo. Having coffee and other essential items for the pantry would have been nice especially with no stores close by. Also a book with instructions for check in and checkout, a listing of things to do close by, labeling of remotes, a bath mat, new pillow cases, window treatments for the front side, extra blankets, Wi-Fi with instructions to connect, etc. Overall for the minimal time we spent it was sufficient. I have family in the area and will be traveling several times a year to visit. Would love to stay here again but would not at this time for more than 1 night unless the items listed above were added to the amenities of the property.
