"We loved the cabin and the privacy of 10 acres. It was just my soon to be husband and I, but the cabin had 1 bedroom with a large bed and then 2 single beds in the loft. Its perfect for a quiet get away or 2 adults and 2 children. It was very clean. The kitchen was fully equipped and even had a washer/dryer. The decore is lovely. And you can stream your favorite stuff on tv. Wifi is excellent. There is a country store and cafe just across from the driveway. It is very quiet and private. Just what we were looking for. Make sure you bring everything you need. We forgot little stuff like shaving kit and chapstick. There are no other businesses closer than a 30 minute drive or more. Perfect hideaway from the world! "

Sparta is a special little town and Allegheny inn is no exception.quaint little motels and inns suit us well and this one is the best! Very clean and great service. Friendly staff and convenient to town... Or the surround natural areas for hiking or canoeing the New river. Love the town events as well. Pie eating contest day is coming up. What a hoot! Can't find that in the big tourist spots I'll bet! "

"I arrived at dusk and the fairy lights were on, the interior was lit and there was classical music playing! Everything inside was well-thought out and cosy and the view across the mountains from inside, as well as from the porch, was spectacular. I spent my days, reading, walking, researching and chilling out by the log burner. I loved it!"

"The property is so beautiful. We walked the trails several times a day. Our dogs had a great vacation. They loved the freedom of the place. We heard the flying squirrels and were lucky enough to have one float past the window. Nearby we enjoyed the Grayson Highlands State Park. We did a short hike and got to see some wild ponies. The home is beautifully decorated and you can tell the owner wants you to have a great experience."
