CASA DOLCEVITA Beautiful flat in medieval village with amazing views, free wifi

Think of long lazy summer days, spent in a haze of late breakfasts at the village coffee bar just next door, cappuccino, freshly squeezed orange juice and mouth watering pastries or a lovely piece of fresh focaccia stuffed with ham and cheese to start your day.
Take some home cooked vegetable pie and filled foccaccia to the beach with you or to the local water holes for bathing, within walking distance. Then when you come home take a long cool drink or a glass of wine onto the balcony with you and watch the beautiful surroundings and locals going about their business, meander down to the pizzeria for an alfresco dinner and take in one of the local dances. Collect the kids from the sports field where they have been having fun with the local children in a wonderfully safe atmosphere. The apartment is big enough for two families of 4 to be comfortable if you fancy a holiday with friends or family.

The apartment is south facing and very large, all on one floor on the second floor of a three floor building in the heart of the village but on the road leading to he piazza so great for people watching on the long balcony.
The kitchen is large and well equipped for an easy holiday.
Master bedroom with an en suite WC & wardrobe, one bedroom with double bed & shelves, one bedroom with bunk beds & cupboard, and one bedroom with twin beds & shelves - in total 8 sleeping spaces. There is a big bathroom with bath and shower, wc, bidet and sink.
Large living room with a bed sofa and a chaise-long, TV & TV table with DVD/CD player, opening onto the balcony overlooking the village. Separate dining room with table and 6 chairs with balcony door / entrance to the big terrace and beautiful views of the village for beautiful dinners at home with your family and friends.

All linen and towels are supplied, plus beach towels.

The apartment overlooks a small children's park and the village and is south facing. The apartment was refurbished and redecorated totally at the beginning of this year.
There are deck chairs and two small tables and 4 chairs on the balcony to enjoy the views and a glass of wine after a lazy day in the sun.

About the village Pigna: Pigna is a small friendly village with inhabitants of around 800, hosting more people in the summer with families that have holiday homes. We have a big sports field and new tennis courts, a 5 aside football pitch and a lovely new playground for children only 5 min walk from the apt. We have a really good pizzeria and restaurant where they have live music on the weekends, we have an ice cream parlour and two other restaurants. We have a bank and a post office, a hairdresser, a doctors surgery, a bank, a petrol station in fact anything you may need for a relaxing holiday. You can walk to the mountain streams & water holes to keep cool in the summer or you can go to the beach which is 17 minutes away and enjoy a lovely glass of wine on the balcony at the end of the day, and getting ready for a relaxing evenin out in the village maybe at one of the local dances.
Pigna is a great base for a walking holiday or for sightseeing, we have trekking paths for the amateur and for the seasoned walker, something for everyone. Around Pigna you have many beautiful natural mountain streams to dip into during hot summer days, and astonishing nature with fruits like kiwi and lemons growing on wild trees. Pigna also inhabits many local Italians which means food, coffee and wine is offered to great quality - but also low prices.

Children: The apartment is ideal for children as it is all on one floor, no stairs, so they are safe to run around and play without getting in anyone's way.
There is a small playground within view of the apartment and a really large playing fields and childrens playground so they can run around to their hearts content.

Pigna has 3 small grocery shops selling everything plus local produce. We have a great pizzeria, a wine bar, an ice cream parlour and a teashop making fresh pastries and cakes, a bank, a post office, a petrol station, a famous family run restaurant where the food just keeps coming and a 4 star Spa Hotel all within walking distance of the apartment.
There is also a local bar that opens at 5 until whenever for the younger members of the family, so if you have teenagers that are being almost dragged along on the family holiday, this is where they will have the greatest time.
