It was in the middle of being renovated, so the pool was not available nor was the gym. The staff was awesome, and the breakfast selection was great. The rooms were cold due to strong winds blowing through the air-conditioning units into the room. The blankets on the bed were not sufficient to offset the cold.

The heater in the room didn’t work. The staff did nothing to make it better. We were forced to stay in a room with no heat in the middle of winter in South Dakota. Tried to talk to two different staff and nothing was fixed. They told us that there was nothing they could do.

I realize Days Inn is budget friendly and certainly will not be 5* but there were a few concerns. The pluses: young man at check in was very helpful, especially when my key did not work. Room, bed, etc., was clean. Good wifi and television. The negatives: the room was icy cold and took over an hour to warm the room. No bath towels. Ice machine broken. No lights on in breakfast room 7am. NO breakfast at 7am. Small bugs (not bedbugs).
