Our stay was incredible! The staff was so friendly and helpful, they helped me surprise my fiance by decorating the bed for his birthday with a beautiful setup! Overall the hotel is gorgeous, we extended our stay. The food was great too!

I was not happy with the restaurant service, multiple times i had to wait an hour or 2 before i got served lunch or dinner. I always ask for a late checkout and they were not accommodating. The hotel has a great view but i will not be returning on my future visit to phuket

What a wonderful hotel. I’d give The Yama Hotel 10 Stars if possible. The staff were excellent! Tong, Joshua, Mint at the front desk, the entire staff at the restaurant, and the cleaners who did the rooms were all absolutely wonderful. The staff was super friendly, professional, and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent! Great variety, healthy choices, great coffee, tea, etc…. and the service was amazing. The pool was lovely. Very clean. Perfect after a day at the beach or walking. Lots of lounge pool An exercise room that is perfect for a quick workout. Dumbbells, treadmills, and equipment that all worked. There’s a spa on the premises if you go for that. The hotel restaurant offers excellent food for about the same price as you’d pay outside. The food was delicious and the fruit smoothies were excellent. It’s about a 1 mile walk to Kata Beach or you can take any of their many daily free shuttles down to or back from the beach. Call front desk to reserve your spot. Kata Beach lounge chairs & umbrellas can be rented for 100 TB for 2 people. The beach guys will try to charge you more, but bargain. 50 TB for fresh, chilled coconut on the beach. Lovely beach & great way to spend an afternoon or evening. Watch the sun. It’ll getcha. The rooms in this hotel were large, immaculately clean, and stocked with goodies you might want to eat. Bottled water is replenished each day. There’s a combo safe in the room. Balconies overlook the beautiful pool.

Scenic property in the hills of Phuket, nice and quiet and very much out of the way of the busy streets, however it's very far out if you plan to go into the main areas such as patong etc. We booked a swim up room which is cool to have direct access to the pool... But the room itself is very very basic. No luxuries at all, we even found a roach in our room on the first and last night of our stay. Bathroom interior is very dark considering the hotel is very bright and airy. The hotel does offer a shuttle service down to the beach which is very handy. The lobby of the hotel is beautiful and the staff are pretty friendly. Gym is pretty decent too and it's 24 hours. A decent stay overall but room amenities could be dramatically improved.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The pool was a nice amenity to have while there. The hotel had free shuttle to the Kata beach which very nice to have but we had to schedule in advanced. The down side for this that we couldn't stay at Kata beach longer if we wanted.

Once I checked out the reception charged me over 800 Baht for 3 cane of Pepsi two bottle of water and 2 nuts literally it costs you not even 100 baht in 7-11I don’t mind paying for it but when I checked in she never explain to me that it is not free why would you guys add snacks and stuff when it is not free making money out of people and it is really far away from everything don’t waste your money …

Very nice hotel and friendly staff. It’s a little far from nearby stores and restaurants but they provide transportation to the beach multiple times a day. Will definitely stay here again.
