The bad thing about this hotel is you don't want yo leave. Simply superb. Breakfast buffet was great. Only negative was pizza at night time was not as good as daytime one.

I had a wonderful experience at the Grand Mercure Hotel. It is in a great area close to everything and the accommodations were great. It was clean, safe, they provide a delicious buffet breakfast and even decorated my room for my birthday without me asking. All around great service. Also check-in was very smooth thanks to Alvin. If staying in Phuket this is a great choice.

The breakfast was good. Staff and customer service was excellent. I requested for a pool access room. Got it for last two days out of seven days but was reached by staff that there is an issue with the pool access room and to ensure my satisfaction they offered free upgrade to a Villa with private pool and it was amazing. The breakfast basket at the pool i requested was simply amazing. Overall, it was a great experience. Check out time is 12:00 which is good and upon request they complimentary extended the checkout time to 2:00 pm. So, a great experience overall.

I can not recommend this hotel enough. Great location but enough removed from main strip that its quiet. 7 min walk to beach, 10 min walk to night markets and shopping centres. Staff were also amazing. I fell ill and they were great and assisted and catered to my requirements.

Definitely include the breakfast if you're going to stay here. The pool is excellent and the staff are very helpful. Its also convenient to have a coffee shop in the hotel. There are lots of bars and restaurants withing walking distance and the beach is also a 5 minute walk.

This was our 2nd time staying at the Grand Mercure and it didn't disappoint! Comfortable bed, great proximity to Walking street, clean facilities, friendly staff and an amazing breakfast buffet. The only thing that I would recommend for lady travelers is to get a travel light that you can clip on the mirror so you can see to do your makeup as the lighting is very dim (mood lighting only).

Not the 5-Star Experience Expected. Despite its rating, the hotel feels dated and more like a 4-star. Rooms and finishes look worn and the facilities felt underwhelming. The breakfast layout is poorly designed, causing congestion and chaos, with some guests behaving rudely toward staff. Positives: good food variety, great location, attentive staff, multiple smoking areas, and pleasant decor. Overall, disappointing for the price and reputation.

We had a truly wonderful expwrience while staying here. Everything was well thoughtout and the staff made it very welcoming. The only draw back would be is to have your laundry done somewhere else, ro expensive to have to done by the hotel.

The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful and were the best part of the stay. Issues with maintenance re railing on pool & shower issues with bursts of hot/ cold. Rooms were clean but minimal shelves to place clothing into and the lighting in the rooms were minimal making it harder to see at night
