Overall great place. About 10 minute drive to Patong beach. Clean rooms, good breakfast buffet. Only negative was pool beds always had dirty towels and dishes . Staff did not do a good job cleaning up

The Avista is a great spot but it could generate considerably increased business with the older set if it put rails along entry steps to the lobby and all other stairways which are dangerous for all residents irrespective of age. A fall there by anyone would be catastrophic. There is nothing to hang onto on any stairs.

My sisters and I really enjoyed our stay at Avista Hideaway. The hotel was very clean and peaceful. Staff were so kind and attentive. Breakfast was delicious - a lot of options too. A great location where you can enjoy peace but drive down to Patong beach or Bangla road for some fun. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
