Cancelled reservation 2 days in advance of arrival!

I made and paid in full for our reservation last July! Two days before arrival, I had an email welcoming us! Then I called the number in the email only to be told...property sold. Later: An email 'damages'I do not know what the truth was but we had 15 people coming and now NOTHING. I doubt I have had a poorer experience.
