Brilliant hotel, mediocre communication

I’ve stayed in Sonder hotels before, and generally think they’re excellent value for money with superb amenities like washer/drier, kitchen etc. Ida is no different, and it’s a well-designed building with spacious apartments. The only issue was communication. I’d booked through this site, and the entire check-in process hinged on receiving an email for pre-verification, which I hadn’t received. I spent a long time on the phone with a Sonder rep who eventually guided me through gaining access to the building… which was a pretty stressful way to start the stay! Also, if you’re wondering about parking - use the street parking spaces and pay at the meter. Not bad at $1.50 (it’s free between 10pm-8am). Info like this would’ve been useful. Still, once we’d cleared that up we really enjoyed our stay in Phoenix.

Went for a concert with my girlfriend, it was our first trip ever together and this place was so clean and comforting and was everything we could’ve imagined. I think the only downside is having to constantly pay for the parking meters if you’re staying for a while but they’re also cheep meters so not a big issue. 10/10 would definitely recommend

The apartment itself is nice and has many of the items you would want to cook. They did include some usual items like coffee, teas, shampoo/conditioner, and soap. I can confirm it can get loud around the premise, mostly drunk people walking by or cars speeding by. I would not recommend this location for a light sleeper. I throughly enjoyed my stay though and would stay again.

The property was nice, but the bar next to the hotel played loud music until 1 or 2 AM every night. I couldn't rest well during my entire stay.

The property was basically an apartment. It was very clean and modern. Checking in and out was easy. There was a local bar nearby that got loud but it wasn’t loud enough to bother me while sleeping.
