We chose to stay at your property for convenience due to an early flight the next morning. We live in Sedona and wanted to avoid a brutally early alarm and 2 hour drive into PHX. However, at 3:00 AM, the room's smoke detector alarm went off and so I had to climb on top of the table nearest the alarm (no ladders in the rooms, obviously) removed the battery, and upon waiting to see if that was enough, unplugged the unit from the hard-wires of the building. It's internal battery back-up was still "alive" so, I wrapped the unit into a large bath towel and placed it outside our door in the hallway. My wife's flight was surprisingly punctual on both ends of her flight, but she arrived quite tired and distressed. I believe this is a simple 9-Volt battery replacement. Please check your other rooms and policy of these units to see if the maintenance schedule has been skipped over in some parts. The batteries last around a year, so you have that long to work this task into your other items of concern. Thank you.

Absolutely LOVED my stay at Senna House and will definitely look into staying here when I come to Scottsdale again! Everything about the hotel was so aesthetically pleasing and they kept every part clean- from the lobby, to our room and all the amenities. The popular Scottsdale restaurant, Cala, was just downstairs and was a great option for brunch or happy hour. The hotel itself was super close to the Old Town clubs/bars, literally right behind it, so we were able to walk there and back with no problem. We would also walk ~5 mins to the Sprouts nearby to grab quick snacks or groceries when needed. Lastly, every single staff member we interacted with was so friendly! They made sure we had everything we need and made checking in early/checking out late an easy process.
