After only being in the room a couple of hours, I turned the heat on in the room. It started to smell like something was burning and the smoke alarm went off. Upon going to the front desk to inform them of the situation I found no one there. I returned to the room to gather my things and tried calling the front desk again. After approximately 10 minutes they answered and got me switched to another room

Is not a Motel 6 anymore. Was under a new name now. They are currently renovating some rooms and there was a very strong smell of paint/chemicals. It was bad enough one afternoon, I stuffed a towel under the door and opened the window all the way to get some airflow. The room was clean though and so were the beds. We slept well. Very low water pressure at the tub/shower. I wasn’t expecting much for the price and that’s about what we got. It’s bare minimum for sure.

It was OK for a motel. The bathroom could have been cleaner and the whole place had an odd smell from what I would assume was an industrial strength disinfectant. The staff was very nice and there are a lot of vending machines for food and drink options.

Opted to pay at property when I booked. Was told at check in that their system was being updated and I had to pay cash only. $4 in ATM fees from them and $3 from my bank. They could have called prior to me showing up and I would have stopped at my bank ATM. Also, walks are super thin, the beds were hard and the pillow like rocks.

The front desk could not accept debit cards so I was instructed to use the lobby ATM. Cash was my only option in the situation. Luckily I had it on-hand. There were several people walking around the property who looked like full-time residents of the hotel, one barefoot, one sitting in the stairwell charging his phone in an outlet, another wrapped in a towel in the hallways. The lobby staircase and upstairs hallways are carpeted but with encrusted layers of dirt. The room looked clean but smelled of cigarette smoke. There were lots of people standing and smoking around the entrance. The entrance had cigarette butts scattered everywhere and no place to dispose of them. The front desk woman in the morning was very polite and pleasant.

The hotel didn’t get my reservation. Issue with expedia, and them not receiving payment. So I had to come out of pocket. Instead of being able to use Affirm. So now I’m stuck paying for hotel twice.

Room look clean at first glance but is covered in roaches. Once crawled on me in bed we packed up and left. Person at desk not surprised and didnt offer any compensation since weonly on room 3 hrs before leaving to kust frove back to San Diego. Worst trip. Paid for a hotel covered in roaches and got no restbefore trip back home.
