They put us in a handicap room. The bed was literally on the floor. The Hampton we were in the 4 nights before had upgraded us to a suite so this one was a little disappointing.

The rooms, I was informed by the very nasty day manager, are for one night stays only. No where to put clothes, he said put them on the couch, no room had a dresser or shelves. He told me to hang up our underwear. No toiletries. Very very uncomfortable bed. Dark room. No water, unless you’re a Hilton member, which we are. No place to sit outdoors to wait for an uber, unless you cross the road and sit behind their shuttle car. When I suggested that the lone bench would be of better use, near the hotel, I was told I was rude. I said after years in customer service, myself, I’d say to a suggestion, Good idea, I’ll mention it to the staff. We were there for a week visiting our new grandson. When I told him the bed was sunken and our backs were in pain, he said, he’d take care of it. Never did. I’ll never stay at a Hilton again, except of course, in Aruba.

Everyone at this hotel went above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The rooms were huge, super clean and had comfy beds. They had probably the best breakfast I have ever had at a hotel. We will stay here again if we are in the area.

I booked the room for Sept 17-23. When we checked into the hotel I told them that I would checking out the 22nd instead of the 23rd. They advised me that they would change it on their side but I needed to contact Hotels.com. I went on a chat and they contacted the hotel and said there would be no credit given for the night of the 22nd, they said I booked a non cancelling room. I didn’t cancel it, I simply changed it. We stayed at this hotel in late August for 4 nights and then 5 nights on this stay for a total of 9 nights in the last month. I also used my account to book 6 other nights in early September. Would like to see my request for a refund for the night I didn’t stay taken into consideration.

I didn't like the presence of multiple copies of The Epoch Times offered at the coffee station. The Epoch Times is owned by the Epoch Media Group, a non-profit media company connected to the Falun Gong religious movement, which was founded by Sino-American members of Falun Gong in 2000. While not technically owned by Falun Gong, the newspaper's staff are often practitioners of the movement and the paper provides sympathetic coverage of Falun Gong's activities, according to Wikipedia. Do better Hampton Inn!
