Didnt get to stay here

So I booked a little over 2 weeks out from my stay, got a confirmation email and two days before check-in recieved the instructions. Drove 6 hours to Phoenix to meet the other people staying with me. When I arrived there was no lock box or anything to go inside and I noticed cars in the driveway. When I called the property owner I was told they had made a boo-boo and that they didnt pay attention to my booking on VRBO. So at 6 in the evening I had to find another place for multiple people to stay because they couldnt run their listing right. I figured what happened is that they were doing the good old double booking scheme, list on multiple sites and then give it to whoever books at the highest rate.
