6 night stay. Smelled totally foul the entire stay. Like a broken sewer pipe. The bar stinks. The food was brutal. The hallways and rooms are beat up. The “fairmont” waters in the room smell like it was filled from a swamp. I have no idea how this place passes for a Fairmont. The olden days of high standards are gone. The Chinese own this place now and are there to juice every dime possible from this run down place. Beware.

The hotel is great! Clean, upscale, and very comfortable. However, we had not so good breakfast experience at the Ironwood American Kitchen on Christmas day. The host lady told us to wait for 15-20 minutes. After 20-25 minutes waiting, we finally got a text message about our table is ready. However, it took them another 20 minutes to take us to our table. Because the host lady kept letting the waitress to take other groups of guests ( who came behind us) to their tables. By the way, the groups didn't reserve ahead of time, as I observed and overheard their conversation. We had to came up to her to complain about this and remind her about us. We finally got seated. We can't believe it's another 20 miniutes' waiting after the table is ready. Fortunately, our waiter is great! He's tentative and did an amazing job serving us and other guests during the busy time.

The stay was marked by procedural inefficiencies that made the experience a bit of a drag - there was a line to valet the car, then there was a line to check in, then the room was kinda far away. They forgot to put down my credit card for the room so when we ordered room service the fella had to come back again to get the card scanned. On checkout there was once again a long line for valet. I wasted probably 1.5-2 hours of a 14 hour stay on just dealing with staff and procedural stuff (they were all very friendly, but what a waste). Red roof inn is more efficient than this and 1/10th of the price
