Welcome to Casa de la Correcaminos! If your idea of a good getaway includes coffee on the patio, afternoons by the pool, and having no particular place to be, you’ll feel right at home here.
Our 3,300-square-foot home sits on nearly an acre in a quiet Carefree neighborhood, with mountain views, mature saguaros, fruit trees, and plenty of room to spread out. One of our favorite things about the location is how peaceful it feels, even though shops and restaurants are just an eight-minute walk away.
Mornings are worth taking slowly. Pour some coffee, find a spot outside, and watch the quail make their rounds through the yard. Head out for a neighborhood walk, explore a nearby hiking trail, or wander into Carefree for breakfast and a little shopping. Cave Creek is close by, too, and CIVANA Wellness Resort & Spa is just down the street if a spa day is on your wish list.
Back at the house, you’ll have a private heated pool and spa, sunny lounge chairs, and a covered patio when you’re ready for some shade. Pool and spa heating are included, so go ahead and plan on some water time—even during the cooler months.
The patio off the second king bedroom is another favorite spot. With its own seating areas, desert plants, and fruit trees, it’s a lovely place to sneak away with a book or enjoy an afternoon drink. Once the string lights come on, you may find yourself staying out there well into the evening.
Inside, high ceilings, big windows, and an open living area give everyone room to get comfortable. There’s space to cook and share a meal, gather for a game, or find a quiet corner to yourself. Three bedrooms, a game room with foosball, a home gym, and a workspace make it easy to settle in, whether you’re here for a few days or a longer stay.
Evenings might be our favorite part. Have dinner outside, take a soak in the spa, and look up once it gets dark—the stars are worth putting your phone down for.
Come spend your days hiking, exploring Carefree and Cave Creek, or doing very little at all. We hope you’ll feel comfortable, relaxed, and glad you came.
