I have to admit that the hotel have an easy access to the restaurant and the market and the reviews of the riverfront. But they do need to remodel the room it’s too over dated. Especially the lizard crawling on the ceiling at night time the shower system is also over dated especially with the hot water. You have to turn on the water heater to get the hot water for the water for the shower which I’m not use to. But the staff is very nice.

Disappointed - old facility, low quality of meals

I had stayed there 7-8 years ago and came back first time last month (March 2023). It was bad as it's overpriced compared with the quality of facility (room remained old and no sufficient hot water for having bath, etc.) and services (breakfast is one of the worst one among hotels with this price range). Staff service is okay, but overall I was disappointed. I will not come back there unless their management is changed.

I do NOT like being charged for a cracked glass which i noticed in the bathroom and placed it in the kitchen. Noticed it when we came back after room had been made up. It is not the cost but the principle of being charged for something that i DID NOT do. Room is fine but please do not charge people for your staff 's error, most off putting. That's one good reason for NOT RECOMMENDING others as they may be charged randomly too....

We had a great stay at this hotel. Very helpful staff. Especially Mr Satya who made several phone calls to assure we would be picked up for our Giant Ibis trip. Over all good service from all the staff.

The location of the Himawari makes a visit to Phnom Penh a unique experience. Watching the sunrise over the Mekong and strolling along the river walk in the early morning allows you to see the city come alive. It also gives you a view of all the boat traffic from small fishing boats to ferry boats. The hotel has kitchen facilities and multi bedroom units which are great for families. The included breakfast is fantastic with an incredible variety of international foods. The pool is a wonderful place to relax and swim.

A grand place to stay

Our stay was great. Location is perfect. It is on the river with a grand river walk that we took daily. All the staff aim to please. Great breakfast, Generously sized apartments that beat any hotel room we have ever stayed in. We will be back

This hotel was our second choice after the first one cancelled on us two days before we arrived. during iour four night stay A large wedding took place on two days, which virtually occupied the lobby of the hotel each time and it’s grounds. The hotel is nicely situated on the banks of the river, everything is within easy distance. The hotel is a little tired with its interior furnishings,, and needs a lit5le tlc to bring it up to standard, ie curtains, bedding and carpets, bathroom also needs some maintenance
