Nice settings but…a paradox

Difficult to say if this is a hotel or a restaurant with rooms. For us it was the last. Very nice place with beautiful outside area. But we stayed 5 nights, and the whole hotel is closed untill 16.00 everyday. You have to give in your key to get cleaning, and can not get it before 16.00. The pool is also closed. So if you want your room and the pool, you will not ger cleaning. In our view the staff is very friendly, but need better management, so they need to know what to do and when. There is a lot of noise from the kitchen for the rooms above. This untill midnight. Staff reacts as if this is a restaurant but forgets there are guests upstairs. Breakfast not worh the money, only one egg per person and no announced bacon. Rest was average good. Cleaning was not existing, only change of towels. It is an average 3 star even that the outside area and the staff could deliver 4 stars or more.

The hotel itself was lovely, the pool was great. We had a family room and it wasn’t the best, the shower was faulty the main head didn’t work and it just leaked out of the pipe instead, we spoke to a member of staff and he told us to just use the hand held part, the room itself had missed cobwebs and the sketchiest stairs to get to main bed upstairs (very thin and steep) one of the back slaps of wood fell out when one of us walked down. It wasn’t horrible but it was disappointing.

Veel mogelijkheden met het zwembad, jacuzzi, terras en restaurant. Ideaal in de zomer om buiten te genieten. Jammer dat de drankjes en hapjes vaak erg lang op zich laten wachten of vergeten worden. Het ontbijt is heel basic. De kamer kon zeker schoner. Voor een familiekamer voor 4personen is de badkamer bijzonder klein. Mooie ligging om een toffe streek te verkennen.

Mooi hotel met fijn zwembad, omringd door ligbedden en zitjes. Jacuzzi achter het hotel, heerlijk! Ruime kamer voor 4 pers. Wel erg gehorig door tussendeur naar de buren. Kamer is onder schuin dak dus het was erg warm eind juli. Stond wel een kleine luchtkoeler naast het grote bed Lamp in de badkamer deed het niet, deurkruk viel er steeds af, dus er mankeerde wel wat aan. Op zondag is er vaak een brocante naast het hotel, waardoor je het dorp niet in mag en je ver met je bagage moet lopen om het hotel te bereiken. Was fijn geweest als dit vooraf gemeld zou zijn! Hadden nu een hele discussie met hysterische organisatie die wrsl dachten dat we een aanslag kwamen plegen toen we langs een half geopend hek waren gereden met onze auto. Ontbijt is lekker, maar minimaal. Klein buffetje en doorgeven hoe je je ei wil. Wel verse jus en lekkere koffie. Dat is alles.Bleek ook ineens 20 euro pp te zijn ipv de overal vermelde 15 euro. Niet de moeite waard naar ons idee. Daarna lekker in het dorp ontbeten. Heerlijke dagen gehad, maar wel wat kanttekeningen!

On of the most wonderful hotels I have ever stayed at! Such a hidden gem! Beautiful building and garden, with pools, and a sauna. Quiet and idyllic. The room was absolutely fabulous! Huge, comfortable, and very clean. The breakfast was a little confusing, as the morning staff did not speak english, and they had not noted down that we had payed for breakfast the night before, but luckily they believed us. The breakfast did not have wide range, but the quality was very good! We would have loved to stay for longer, but the hotel was fully booked. One of the best hotels I have ever been to!

Smukt sted, dejlige senge. Vi kunne desværre ikke bruge poolen da der var live musik hele aften (er der for det meste hver torsdag i sommeren) men vi kunne benytte boblebadet på den anden side af huset, uden at forstyrre andre gæster. Men dejligt stille og smuk område

Magnifique

Nous y avons passé deux nuits. Nous avons été très bien accueillis, tout le personnel est très disponible, sympathique et souriant. On s’y est tout de suite bien sentis. Les espaces sont très propres, bien décorés et sentent bon. Le service d’entretien des chambres n’est pas systématiquement quotidien mais le personnel et le patron restent à votre disposition pour n’importe quel besoin et font les choses avec plaisir. Le petit déjeuner est complet et très bon ainsi que le restaurant (cuisine faite maison, c’est très bon). Nous avons pu profiter de l’espace bien être autant que l’on voulait et les espaces collectifs restent toujours ouverts et accessibles. Nous ne sommes pas prêts d’oublier ce magnifique séjour. Merci au Presbytère.
