Room was clean and in a great corner location. We only stayed one night so didn't need much as far as amenities. We did use the coffee maker and appreciated the glasses for water and other beverages that we bought in the market downstairs. Staff was friendly (acknowledged me at check-out as the person who checked us in - which I appreciated). We'd stay here again on our next Philly trip!

This is the email I sent to corporate. The one side of the hotel is accessible to anyone you do not need a room key. Thank you for taking the time to read my note. While visiting my son in Philadelphia I often choose your hotel, and I appreciate the service I have typically received. I’m writing because this morning, at approximately 8:15 a.m., a member of housekeeping entered my room (981) while I was still in bed. There was no knock or announcement, and the Do Not Disturb sign was on the door. The staff member apologized and left after seeing I was in the room. Because the room is next to the service elevator and is already noisy, I called the front desk to report the incident. The agent I spoke with, identified as Lou, responded in a way that made me feel like a nuisance rather than addressing the safety concern. Later, the housekeeping manager called and initially said their staff were all in a meeting; after I explained that someone had entered my occupied room, she suggested the checkout might have been processed by Expedia. This sequence left me concerned about both guest privacy and the accuracy of your internal procedures. I’m sharing this in the hope you will review what happened, especially how room status is communicated and how staff handle reports from guests. I value your hotel and would prefer to continue staying here when I visit, but I will reconsider future bookings unless I’m confident these issues are addressed.

I will say that the staff is amazing, but it appeared to be shortstaffed in public restaurants and bars applying more pressure on your service team, which resulted in poor service as well as your team, losing fortuity opportunities. Outside of that, I thought your hotel was fantastic.

The room was nice. Beautiful view but it wasn’t the room I booked and paid for. It seemed that because I booked it here on Expedia they just downgraded my room. I would have been given the difference in price had I booked it through Bonvoy their app. They said they’d talk to the manager and get back to me. I finally went down to ask and they had put a $100. Room service comp on my room but didn’t tell me. I paid for a tower two queen suite. I was given a two queen room on the 18th floor. The price is more than $100. Everything else was great. The little store has a variety of things and they’re very nice. The housekeeping was also very sweet. I was so thankful to see my room nice after a long day. The location is so perfect. Right in downtown across from the Marketplace that has amazing foods of all kinds. Then love park is on the other side of the block. My very favorite is Maggiano’s Little Italy, is also across the street. We always go there at least once if not more. So this is a great spot but you’ll be treated better and get what you pay for if you book through them. They don’t really honor the bookings made on other websites.
