Charming, comfortable, quaint stay with a great location and welcoming staff. Room was clean with nice king bed. Bathroom was newly renovated. Staff was very friendly and helpful especially Fred? gentleman who organized morning breakfast, who helped us even at 6:00am. Hard to believe we were in the heart of Philadelphia, more like a country b n b.

Scott and the entire staff were excellent and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Walking distance to the historic district and yummy restaurants. No elevator in historic building, but staff will help with bags. Parking right across the street. Can't wait to go back!

Looking forward to going back to the Morris House. This boutique hotel is perfectly located near the hospitals and downtown Philadelphia. Scott the manager on duty on Tuesdays and Wednesdays went out of his way to take care of us. From the freshly baked cookies that are set out at 3pm with tea and coffee to wonderful breakfast served in the dinning room every morning, this space is lovely. Our room was spotless, with two thick robes, and all the amenities. Mattress was very comfortable. Really cannot say enough nice things about this gem of a hotel.
Enjoyed a relaxing bottle of wine in front of the fire. Thank you, Scott.
