Constant beeping sound in rooms

The hotel has had some piping issue for 3 months where there is a constant beeping sound in some of the rooms (similar to when fire alarm is low on batteries). The hotel staff informed me they couldn't do anything about it and wouldn't refund my stay. I would also make sure to document and record a video of your room when you check out because of they attempted to withhold part of the security deposit with no explanation .

There is a bell tower nearby that rings its bells every hour throughout the night. If you are a light sleeper, do yourself a favor and stay away from this area. The place is nice, very well located, and has a nice gym. But the bells are terrible.

It was a lot of dogs there but otherwise it was an excellent day. Rooms was a good size. Nice and clean. I have forgotten my shampoo and I loved it that they hit shampoo conditioner. Thank you I’ll be coming back.

We were very disappointed in this property. To start, what they call the front desk is just someone sitting in the lobby with a laptop and if they are on a break, there is no one there. We arrived at 9:00 p.m., during their break, and waited in the lobby with our suitcases until the desk clerk arrived. He then accused me of being rude to him on the phone and said he was kicking me out of the building, only to discover that it was another customer who had been rude (he kicked that customer out instead). Despite purporting to have valet parking, no valet appeared. The room came with earplugs because the street noise in the morning was so loud (they didn't help), and the room did not have blackout shades despite saying they did in the description. The neighborhood is not safe after dark. The streets only have homeless people and panhandlers and my daughter got to see her first shoplifter run out of the convenience store in the building with his pockets stuffed. We ran out of toilet paper only to discover that there was no extra roll provided. I texted the number for assistance and they said they'd provide a new roll the next day, which did us little good. So, I spent $20 to DoorDash delivery of toilet paper at 10:00 p.m. After we left, they assessed a $150 charge for alleged damage to the fabric on a bedframe. The picture of the damage was clearly caused by a dog chewing on it, but we had no dog. Despite our protest over the wrongful charge, they refused to reverse it.

Upon entering the apartment my wife asked, “How did you get this place?” The purpose of our trip was to spend time with our son, stationed by the US Navy in Italy. He was attending a meeting of Navy dentists in Philly. This apartment was directly across from Independence Mall, where the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were signed! The liberty bell was also on the opposite corner. One bedroom with the bathroom on the same level. Sidewalk restaurant on the next street. We will never forget this lesson in American History.

Great Location and super friendly for dogs.

The apartment is amazing! The location is great! We will definitely stay there again when we visit Philly. It is a perfect place to go with friendly dogs as there are 5 parks in walking distance that are in safe ares. Lots of food and attractions within walking distance. Downtown square is a 20 minute walk down Market Street. If I had to ask them to address one thing it would be the bed- not the most comfortable. Maybe a good matress pad. Maybe its just getting a little worn. Other than that- very much love staying here.
