The room was spotless and the staff were excellent. Special shoutout to Ms Pam, breakfast was so good, and she's so nice. This is the best place to stay when visiting Phenix City.

Had we known that the hotel was covered in mold, we would have never stayed here with children and an immunocompromised adult. The staff members were not friendly- except for the cleaning staff and the receptionist checking us out. Upon leaving for check out, maintenance man was masked scrubbing mold off the walls in the lobby- Would it not been appropriate to alert guest that that was taking place and re route our exit from our room?

Parking was the best thing only. Had 2 rooms floor was dirty. Water never got hot. Room 1 reach on walls. Room 2 roach on bed. Holes in ceiling . The other guest was grilling outdoors with their car radio blasting music.

The first night we were told to park in an abandoned, unkempt lot outside of the property as the lot was filled with CONNEX boxes and utility trucks. The room smelled like wet dog and cigarettes. There were stains on the bedsheets, and the A/C smelled strongly of dust when used.
