ALOHA FROM NORTH TWIN LAKE.
In the 1930s, Americans dreamed big from wherever they stood. Hawaii was exotic, distant, and impossibly glamorous — and that's exactly why tiki culture exploded on the mainland during the Depression. People couldn't travel far, so they transformed their backyards, their campsites, and their imaginations.
This 16-foot round yurt-style luxury tent is that dream made real, curated as part of POV Resort's LIVING HISTORY MUSEUM OF CAMPING — AMERICA'S FIRST. Tucked among tall pines with a view deep into the Northwoods, it's a short walk from the bathhouse and a world away from ordinary.
THE SPACE
Inside, natural light floods the circular space, and the festive tiki décor does the rest. A queen bed, full futon, and kitchen table sleep up to 6. No appliances or running water inside. A POV Power Station — included with your rate — runs lights, phone chargers, laptops, fans, CPAP machines, and other low-draw devices.
OUTSIDE YOUR DOOR
Private firepit, charcoal grill, hammock, tiki torches, and a picnic table. A shared gas grill station with provided tanks is available in the campground (between sites 8 and 9). Wood swings and hammocks throughout the resort. Mulch ground cover — no more tracking mud. A propane space heater is provided — bring or purchase 1 lb canisters in our self-serve store (one gets you through the night).
BATHHOUSE
Our new air-conditioned restroom trailer has four private bathrooms with sinks, hot showers, and toilets. Deep cleaned twice daily. Water station on the exterior.
EVERY RESORT AMENITY INCLUDED IN YOUR RATE
One price = everything. No surprise fees. Guests have full use of our sandy beach with easy lake access, paddleboards, kayaks, canoes, hiking trails, game room, general store, and stargazing. Boat rentals and romance packages available.
PARKING

ORIENTATION TO GROUNDS
Nature and the deep woods are THE place to be - we are excited to host you at the resort! Coadys' Point of View Lake Resort & Campgrounds is open and following the state's health and safety directive for lodging and camping businesses, working to further ensure your stay is as healthy and as fun as can be! We have purposely kept our campgrounds rustic to minimize disturbing the woods - we took down as few trees as possible to keep the forest intact.
Glamping at POV isn't typical Northwoods seclusion - our campsites are cozy but not as close to each other as an RV park. We feel the amenities on-site and the beauty of the forest and surrounding area more than make up for the snug nature of the campgrounds. With this goal, there isn't enough turnaround for most RVs, travel trailers, and boat trailers in the campgrounds.

PETS
Pets are not allowed in the campgrounds to keep sounds to a minimum.

QUIET HOURS
POV is a family-oriented campgrounds, and we ask everyone respect the relaxing nature of the woods. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am daily. That being said, while we are in the national forest, keep in mind we are not a completely super secluded area where you won't hear anyone ever...
