The castle itself was beautiful and wonderfully restored. The rooms were very comfortable and the food in the restaurant was delicious. The restaurant was minimalist and modern in design so not quite in keeping with the feel of the property overall, could do with a little more ambiance but the breakfast in the morning was really wonderful.

The room was good, but small and the bed/pillows were not very comfortable, but kind of expected when visiting Italy. My only real "con" was dinner at the restaurant. We shared 3 courses, and the food was not to our liking. The combination of ingredients was just not good. Otherwise it's a great place.
