Cant fault the service or hotel. Would ask that the shiwer pipe from the tap was longer as anyone over 5ft 9 could not use it without having to bemd over to wet your hair. Being morth of 5ft made it particlularly difficult, but luckily I still have some flexibilty on this old body!

Wouldn't stay again

Room dated , bed not comfy , tv was dusty and the bath was grubby looking . Breakfast wasnt worth the cost . Bacon was practically raw . Was uncomfortable asking for well cooked as chef looked unapproachable.

Staff were fine bedroom ok for a one night trip but dated.Facilities OK.However had the worst nights sleep I have had in any hotel.The floor board creaked excessively every time there was movement in the room above it sounded like a herd of cows.You could hear the use of the toilet. the creaking continued with other residents using the toilet and turning in their beds which generated the floorboards .Floorboard in the corridor upstairs and on our level were the same when anyone passed.Also couple in room next to us and almost above us were talking and you could virtually hear every word this talking continued until 4am .It is not the residents fault who were moving and those talking were talking normally not shouting.Soundproofing needs to be done and the totally excessive noise from the floorboards fixed.A hotel I shall avoid like the plague .With updating with TLC and fixing the faults could make this a good hotel

A lovely hotel with helpful friendly staff. Situated a stone throw from the city centre ideally situated for shopping trips or a night out at the local theatres. We will definitely be staying here again when we next visit Perth. Thank you all.

Very nice stay

Yes the hotel is a bit old , but our room was clean and tidy and had everything we needed , staff are great and friendly , breakfast was perfect great selection , and was good location too for walking around Perth .

Very well maintained older, charming historic building. Excellent breakfast buffet. Ate 2 delicious dinners and thoroughly enjoyed the desserts. Try the dark chocolate and peanut butter parfait. All staff were friendly and professional.

I loved the old architecture of the building. The staff was wonderful. Breakfast was great. It’s a beautiful property. The only downside was the low pressure in the shower due to a leaky shower head. That’s an easy fix. It was totally worth the cost.

A hotel in need of an upgrade.

My room was tired. In need of a new carpet that was thread bare, furniture worn and decoration filthy. Even the stairway carpet was threadbare in places.
